Buy a labeled slot.
Not a ranking.
AltDora sells a small number of sponsored placements — never more than three on a page, plus enhanced listings for tools that want a fuller page. Every paid placement is labeled, sits outside the ranked list, and carries a rel=“sponsored” link. The order of a list is never for sale.
What you can buy
Three options. Prices are per month and cancel any time. Every placement follows our Advertising Disclosure to the letter.
- Full description and pricing detail
- A link to your site on your own listing
- Send updates any time — reviewed and published by us
- Does not change where you rank
- Labeled card above the list on the category or alternatives page you choose
- Sits outside the ranked list, never inside it
- Your tool has to genuinely fit the page it's on
- Want more pages? Each is its own slot
- Cancel or switch pages any time
- A single labeled placement, no ad stacking
- Written in your words, marked as sponsored
- Reaches subscribers actively comparing tools
- Priced against the real list size — we'll show you it
Where a sponsored slot actually sits
Above the list, in its own card, visually separated and labeled. Readers can tell at a glance which one you paid for — which is the point, and why they trust the rest.
Its own listing — the same name, facts and description readers see everywhere else.
The ranked list starts below and is unaffected:
What money buys — and what it doesn't
Sponsors get
- A labeled placement in front of people mid-decision
- Scarcity — never more than three sponsors on a page, one per newsletter issue
- A fuller product page you help write
- Simple monthly terms — no contracts, cancel any time
- A reply within one business day
Money never buys
- A position or score in any ranked list
- Removal of a drawback, a con or a user comment
- A placement inside the list itself
- A link that passes SEO value
- The right to have a competitor delisted
How we handle paid links
Written out in full because it matters to both sides — you shouldn't buy a link that could hurt your site, and we shouldn't sell one. Full detail in our advertising disclosure.
Every paid link is attributed
Links in sponsored slots, enhanced listings and newsletter placements carry rel=“sponsored”. They're for readers to click, not for search rankings — following Google's guidance on qualifying outbound links.
Every paid placement is labeled
The word “Sponsored” appears next to the placement in readable text, not hidden in a footnote or set in unreadable grey.
Sponsors don't publish here
We don't take guest posts, paid articles or vendor-written write-ups. Copy you supply for your own listing is reviewed before it goes live.
Editorial is separate from sales
Sponsorship has no input into which tools are listed, how they're ordered, or what the write-up says. If a sponsor has a real weakness, it stays on the page.
Relevance is a condition of sale
A slot is only sold to a tool that genuinely belongs on the page it appears on. Off-topic placements get declined, however good the budget.
We'll say no
No adult content, gambling, crypto speculation, MLM, data scraping tools, or anything we wouldn't recommend to a reader.
How big is the audience?
Small, and we'll tell you exactly how small. AltDora launched recently and the catalogue is still growing, so we price for that rather than pretending otherwise. Ask and we'll send you the current analytics — sessions, top pages and outbound clicks — before you commit to anything.
Founding sponsors get the introductory rate held for twelve months, even as traffic grows.
Tell us which page you want.
Send the tool, the page you want it on and your timeline — we'll reply with what's open, the current rate and real traffic numbers within one business day.
