Before you switch

Should you replace TechRadar?

Why people stay 3

  • Buying guides quickly turn crowded product categories into manageable shortlists.
  • Reviews explain how devices behave in ordinary use, not just how their specifications compare.
  • Frequent updates keep major launches, price changes, and seasonal sales visible.

Why people switch 4

  • Dense advertising and commerce modules can interrupt reading, especially on mobile screens.
  • Affiliate links are deeply integrated into buying guides, making commerce feel inseparable from editorial coverage.
  • Broad coverage sometimes lacks the technical depth available from category-specific publications.
  • Deals and retailer recommendations can be region-specific and less useful outside core markets.
